Our Promise to You
We want you to love everything you order from Boomerang. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help — smoothly, fairly, and with our signature Boomerang care. This policy explains how returns work for all EU customers.
Return Period
We offer a 30-day returns window from the date of delivery.
EU law requires a 14-day minimum — we go above and beyond because premium service is part of who we are.
Items Eligible for Return
Returned items must be:
• Unused, unworn, unwashed, and not tried on for riding or outdoor use
• In original condition with all tags and packaging attached
• Free from marks, makeup, dirt, odours, or horse hair
Items that are used, worn, tried outdoors, or show any signs of wear cannot be returned.
This includes creasing, scuffs, stretching, hair, odours, sweat marks, or any visible signs of use.
Non-Returnable Items (for hygiene & safety)
• Helmets and safety equipment - if worn or used
• Custom, made-to-order, or personalised products
• Underwear or base layers worn next to the skin
• Opened cleaning products or grooming liquids
(Some brands have stricter rules — these will always be clearly stated on the product page.)
How to Start a Return
Email returns@boomerang.ie with:
• Your name
• Order number
• Item(s) you wish to return
We will reply with the return address and step-by-step instructions.
Return Shipping
• Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items unless the item is faulty.
• We strongly recommend using a tracked postal or courier service.
• The parcel remains the customer’s responsibility until it reaches us.
Refunds
Once your return has arrived and passed inspection, we issue a refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
For EU customers, refunds include the price of the item and the standard outbound delivery fee when required under EU law.
This applies to returns made within the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal period.
Returns made under our extended 30-day Boomerang returns policy do not include a refund of the original delivery fee unless the item is faulty.
Please note:
• Upgraded shipping fees (express, next-day, etc.) are not refundable
• Refund timings may vary depending on your bank
• Items showing signs of use or wear will not qualify for a refund
Exchanges
To keep things fast and efficient, exchanges are processed as a new order.
Return the original item for a refund and place a fresh order for the size, colour, or product you'd prefer.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If something arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
In these cases, Boomerang covers all associated costs and arranges a replacement or refund promptly.
Country-Specific Information (EU)
Boomerang ships across Europe, and while EU consumer law is largely harmonised, a few countries have additional expectations. Our policy already meets all local requirements.
Germany & Austria
Customers may use a standard cancellation form (“Widerrufsformular”) if preferred. We can provide this on request.
France
Refunds always include the standard outbound delivery charge, in line with French enforcement of EU rules.
Sweden & Denmark
Customers may open the packaging to inspect the goods but must not use them beyond what is necessary to assess fit and suitability.
Any loss of value caused by use may reduce the refund.
Finland
Refunds are processed once returned goods are received, as permitted under Finnish and EU regulations.
Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy
No additional requirements beyond the EU standard 14-day right of withdrawal, which is fully covered by our 30-day policy.
