The Shires Blue Sweet Iron Tom Thumb has stainless steel cheeks, blue sweet iron mouth piece and a brass alloy lozenge. This bit creates a lifting action which can help stop the horse from leaning. The blue sweet iron encourages salavation and the brass lozenge creates even pressure and encourages mouthing.
